2006 (mar)-2008 (mar) Post doc. funded by the Centre for lake restoration (CLEAR), at the Institute of Biology, University of Southern Denmark, Odense. Involved in different aspects of lake restoration.
2006 (feb)-2008 (feb) Post doc. funded by the Carlsberg foundation, at the Institute of Biology, University of Southern Denmark, Odense. Inter-diciplinary projekt between biology and analytical chemistry in cooperation with Swedish, German and Danish scientists. Involving: Turnover of organic phosphorus in phytoplankton and sediment and its implication for the phosphorus dynamics in the lakes
Implementation of 31P NMR analysis of environmental samples, at the University of Southern Denmark, Odense.
Involved in chemical lake restoration. Effects of oxygenation on organic P in lake sediments. 31P NMR Survey oorganic P in 18 danish Lakes.
Supervisor for a Belgium Erasmus student (Bachelor projekt)
Co-supervisor for 1 master student and 2 bachelor students.

2005 (sep + oct) Employed at the Institute of Freshwater Ecology, (IGB), Berlin at Dr. Michael Hupfer. Degradation of organic phosphorus and 31P NMR analyzes.

2005 (jun) Employed at the University of Uppsala (Sweden) at Dr. Emil Rydin. 31P NMR and ICP analyses of lake sediments and article writing.

2001 (sep) -2003 (sep) Employed at the University of Southern Denmark. Teaching: General ecology (2001-2002), Ecology of streams (2002), Ecology of a salt marsh/coastal grassland (2002-2003) Lake ecology (2003), Ecology introduction (introduction for high school students) (2003).

2000 (maj) - 2001 (jul) Employed at the department of Nature and water resources, County of Funen. Vegetation surveys in Lake Arreskov, typing of data, and electro fishing in various streams on Funen.

2000 (jun + jul) Employed at the Department of Waste Water, County of Southern Jutland. Measurements of the effects of artificial oxygenation on the phosphorus, temperature, and oxygen level in Lake Vedsted.

2000 (may-sep) Employed at the department of Nature and water resources, County of Funen: Investigation of small lakes in the municipality of Svendborg. (Collection of water samples and classification of flora and fauna).

2006 (jan) Ph.D. in ecology. Title: phosphorus diagenesis in lake sediments and its implications for the phosphorus cycle in the lakes.

2004 (may-sep) 6 months visit at the University of Uppsala, Sverige, with a collaboration between the Department of Ecology and Evolution and the Institute of analytical chemistry, Biomedical Centre. Identification of organic phosphorus in lake sediments by use of 31P NMR spectroscopy. Optimization of analytical methods.

2003 (sep) Cand. Scient. in biologi, University of Southern Denmark.

2001 (oct) Participant in a restoration project in Lake Sønderby (Funen). Addition of Aluminium chloride to the lake. A project in collaboration with the County of Funen and SDU. Practical experiences with planning and application of the lake restoration.

2001 (sep) Start of Ph.D. in ecology.

1999 (oct) Bachelor in ecology, University of Odense.
Titel: Nutrient limitation of phytoplankton growth in marine ecosystems. Review of Literature.
