Particular interests: Andrology and Sexual Differentiation. During the last decades most of his scientific focus has been on etiology and treatment of azoospermia, in vivo and in vitro spermatogenesissex chromosome abnormalities and semen quality, including round cells, sperm DNA fragmentation and oxidative stress in the semen. Is also working with the influence of seminal fluid on embryo implantation in the uterus. 

Jens Fedder has written more than 100 scientific papers and, in addition, Danish national and Nordic guidelines in fertility examination and treatment (andrology).

Jens Fedder is organizing courses in andrology, infertility and reproductive medicine for medical specialists and trainees.

Jens Fedder has given more than 100 oral presentations at congresses in Europe and many non-European countries. Supervisor for 8 finished PhD students.
