Med en baggrund som cand. mag. i Psykologi og Pædagogik & Uddannelsesstudier fra Roskilde Universitet samt ph.d. fra Københavns Universitet, Institut for Medier, Erkendelse og Formidling, Afdeling for Pædagogik, har jeg en bred erfaring inden for Humaniora og Samfundsvidenskab. Jeg har konkret erfaring med forsknings- og udviklingsarbejde, undervisning, vejledning, evaluering, administration og forskningskoordination.

Uddannelse
2007 - 2010 Ph.d. fra Københavns Universitet, Institut for Medier, Erkendelse og Formidling, Afdeling for Pædagogik. Afsluttede forskeruddannelsen med en afhandling om differentierings- og sorteringsprocesser i pædagoguddannelsen.
2001 - 2004 Cand. mag. i Psykologi og Pædagogik & Uddannelsesstudier ved Roskilde Universitet. Afsluttede uddannelsen med et speciale om gymnasiereform 2005.
2000 - 2001 Bachelor i Psykologi ved Roskilde Universitet. Afsluttede bacheloruddannelsen med en arbejdspsykologisk projektrapport om samarbejdsproblemer mellem Høje Taastrup Kommunes ungdomsklubber og Projekt Gadeplan.
1999 -2000 Færdiggjorde Humanistisk International Basisuddannelse på Roskilde Universitet med projektrapport om mobning i folkeskolen.
1994 - 1996 Hf-afgangseksamen på Køge Gymnasium.

Arbejdserfaring

2015-  Ansat som lektor på Institut for Kulturvidenskaber, Syddansk Universitet. Forsker pt. i professioner, organisationer og ledelse i velfærds/konkurrencestaten.  
2013 - Ansat som adjunkt på Institut for Kulturvidenskaber, Syddansk Universitet.  
2011 - 2013 Ansat som postdoc på Institut for Psykologi og Uddannelsesforskning, Roskilde Universitet. Med særlig tilknytning til Center for Velfærd, Profession og Hverdagsliv (VELPRO).
2010 - 2011 Ansat som videnskabelig assistent på Institut for Psykologi og Uddannelsesforskning, Roskilde Universitet.
2007 - 2010 Ansat som ph.d.-stipendiat på Københavns Universitet, Institut for Medier, Erkendelse og Formidling, Afdeling for Pædagogik. Har gennem denne stilling opnået ph.d.-graden samt erfaring med undervisning og formidling på kandidatniveau.
2005 - 2007 Ansat som adjunkt i pædagoguddannelsen ved Dannerseminariet. Har i mellemliggende perioder været udlejet som underviser på dels PD-uddannelsen ved CVU København & Nordsjælland og dels pædagoguddannelsen ved CVU Sønderjylland.
2004 - 2005 Ansat som forskningsassistent på Institut for Pædagogik og Uddannelsesstudier, Roskilde Universitet. Medvirkede til evaluering af projekt Samtidskunst og Unge samt opstart og etablering af Center for Barndoms- og Ungdomsforskning.

Research Interests

My research primarily revolves around teachers, educators, and other similar professional groups. My Ph.D. dissertation focuses on differentiation and selection in teacher education, where I study which students, with different combinations of gender, class, and ethnicity, match or do not match the culture in the education. Since then, I have been involved in two BUPL-supported research projects concerning newly graduated educators and their experiences with and possible application of the education in their first job, and the significance of teacher education in the effort to professionalize the educational profession. I have also previously researched childhood and youth as well as high school, including collaborations with Lene Larsen from RUC and Peter Henrik Raae and Katrin Hjort from SDU. In recent years, I have studied school leadership, including a project supported by Maersk, and issues related to recruitment and retention in the teaching and educational profession. From 2020-2023, I was the PI for an EU project concerning 'loss of meaning and meaning-making in the Nordic teaching and educational professions' - which is a particular angle on the recruitment and retention issue.

A few keywords on my research interests: Teacher and educator education, profession and professional development, school leadership, academization & practice orientation, children and youth, high school, educational sociology, professional sociology, policy and discourse analysis.

Research areas

At the moment, I am involved in a project supported by NordForsk, which deals with social security and cohesion in the Nordic welfare states. I am responsible for a sub-project on vulnerability among young people in primary school. Additionally, I am working on projects within the sociology of professions, including a DFF project in collaboration with Anders K. Ljundalh on the creation of norms for impartiality in professional education.
