Research areas

Jøren Ullits is an accomplished associate professor at the University of Southern Denmark, with a particular research interest in the intersection between technology and law. His research focuses on the development of digital administrative solutions that comply with administrative law, administrative principles, and data protection legislation. Jøren is especially interested in exploring technological avenues for submitting, retrieving, and processing civic data in a transparent, authentic, and secure manner, while also adhering to administrative law and the data protection framework.

In addition to his research activities, Jøren is also a respected course leader for the mandatory LL.B course in Administrative Law and the LL.M course in Digital Administrative Law at the University of Southern Denmark. He brings a wealth of practical experience to his academic work, with expertise in areas such as sustainable energy and compensatory damages for former mink farmers affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.
