Experience in teaching, supervision and exams:


Instructor in anatomy and histology at Odense University, 1992-97 totaling 300 hours 

Epidemiology / Research Method: From 2001 to 2009 I taught research method both as class instruction and as exercises for medical students and radiograph students. Furthermore, I have taught master's courses in rehabilitation and gerontology, SDU, as well as postgraduate courses for instructors at medium-cycle higher health educations offered by SDU. In the courses in which I participated in the evaluation, this was mainly done by the students' written preparation of draft research protocol and an oral review of this or by an essay assignment. A total of 390 hours. 

Clinical associate professor (Rate B Associate Professor) in Haematology, Department of Clinical Research, University of Southern Denmark, from March, 2008 to September, 2009 with the main teaching function in blocks of the master's programme in medicine, including teaching lectures, classes, moderator of group work at 7th and 12th/13th semester. Approximately 150 instruction hours per year. 

Clinical associate professor (Rate C associate professor) in haematology, Department of Clinical Research, University of Southern Denmark, from 2012 to present with main educational function in blocks of master's programme in medicine, including teaching lectures, classes, moderator of group work, at 7th and 12th/13th semester. Approximately 100 instruction hours per year. 

Postgraduate teaching

As resident/specialist, participated in postgraduate teaching of junior doctors from 1997 in internal medicine /haematology at lectures/symposia/theme days. 


Interdisciplinary training of nursing staff. 

Lecturer/instructor at several meetings of the Danish Hemophilia Association. 


Participated in the preparation of written MC exam in the module "diseases of blood and blood forming organs” by the medical faculty, University of Southern Denmark, from 2008-09 as and since 2012. 

Participated in the preparation of questions for and execution of the OSCE exam (baccalaureate) in haematology at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Southern Denmark, from 2008-09 and since 2012.
