Jeg er viceinstitutleder ved Klinisk Institut på Syddansk Universitet, hvor min primære opgave er at sikre, at instituttets uddannelser tilføres de mest kvalificerede og kompetente undervisere. Jeg er arbejder for at styrke den akademiske kvalitet og udvikling af instituttets uddannelsesmiljø gennem tæt samarbejde med både forsknings- og undervisningsmiljøer.

Jeg er speciallæge i reumatologi og ansat som overlæge på Reumatologisk Afdeling C ved Odense Universitetshospital. Jeg har en ph.d.-grad og er aktiv forsker med betydelig erfaring som ph.d.-vejleder og som investigator i nationale og internationale kliniske studier. Min forskning fokuserer primært på behandlingsstrategier ved reumatoid artrit (leddegigt), ultralyd ved Mb. Sjögren og Immunterapi-relaterede autoimmune bivirkninger i bevægeapparatet

Research areas

I am Deputy Head of Department at the Department of Clinical Research at the University of Southern Denmark, where my primary responsibility is to ensure that the department’s degree programmes are staffed with the most highly qualified and competent teachers. I work to strengthen the academic quality and development of the educational environment through close collaboration with both research and teaching communities.

I am a consultant rheumatologist and employed as a senior consultant at the Department of Rheumatology C, Odense University Hospital. I hold a PhD and am an active researcher with substantial experience as a PhD supervisor and as an investigator in national and international clinical studies. My research primarily focuses on treatment strategies for rheumatoid arthritis, the use of ultrasound in Sjögren’s syndrome, and immunotherapy-related autoimmune adverse events affecting the musculoskeletal system.
