Oct. 1998 - June 1999Project coordinator on a study of the knowledge of waterborne diseases among the population of northern Benin for the Beninese NGO "Femmes, Action, Progrès".

The work consisted of working out questionnaires and interview guides, training of the research staff, presentation of the results and working out a report in French in cooperation with a Beninese sociologist. The work was done in relation with a Danida-financed water and health project in Northern Benin.

Preparation and implementation of a study of village women’s participation in democratic processes in the villages in which the project installed solar-driven water pumps.
