I have for the past decades been involved in research affiliated to medicial education in the area of admission and assessment.
Research Interests
Primary research area is in the area of viral hepatitis.
I have initiated, conducted and participated in clinical ( including clinical trials), epidemiological and qualitative studies on Hepatitis C.
My special interest is hepatitis in an elimination context in people who inject drugs. Currently conducting epidemiological and clinical research along the cascade of care.
Additionally I have an interest in ultra-short treatment for hepatiits C and have been the primary investigator in two trials on 4 week treatment.
I am engaged in ongoing studies on the qualitative and patient reported outcomes of hepatitis C treatment
