General research profile
I consider myself to be a communication scientist with a solid background in semantics and pragmatics. As I was in charge of developping the Spanish part of the cand.negot. degree course at the University of Southern Denmark, I became extremely interested in the relationship between communication and culture and in negotiation as an interactive event as central research topics. To gain more insigths in the importance of stereotypic beliefs in everyday interaction across national cultures that I could get from doing discourse analysis of naturally occurring negotiations alone, I also made a project on research interviewing as an interactive event. Since 2003 I have been doing research on (social) trust.
