Research areas

The area of research includes developing the clinimetric specialty pertaining to the musculoskeletal system. This includes Rasch analyses, factor analyses, validation studies and cross-cultural adaptation of international questionnaires into Danish. In addition new questionnares are developed in areas where existing questionnaires are of poor quality or missing. The main areas include questionnares specific to the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine and hip. In addition, I work with different types of questionnaires specific for children/adolescents and geriatric patients.

I also work with the clinimetric properties of the Global Perceived Effec scale (GPE) and the development of new methods to interpret the results of large clinical trials.
