About

SDU Climate Cluster (SCC) is SDU's strategic initiative within climate research, communication and action. As an interdisciplinary climate cluster, the researchers in SCC work across SDU's various academic environments to develop a sustainable society. We do this by walking on two legs, so that through our various projects and research activities we contribute to reducing the man-made climate footprint and limiting ongoing climate change. In collaboration with other actors, we also contribute to adapting society to the consequences of climate change that we can no longer avoid.

SDU Climate Cluster works in a project-oriented manner and continuously initiates pilot projects and experiments across SDU's academic environments. Three large and interconnected Interreg projects (Poseidon, ClimatePol and ClimateBlue) and our four SCC Elite Centres (SOLEN, AquaNbS, CUHRE and PACA) form the academic core of the climate cluster.
