Description

Course focused on the interlink between open innovation and new market entrance and creation, designed for engineers.
The course discuss the benefits and challenges of open innovation regimes in connection to new markets. Students are introduced to the open innovation paradigm, and the course subsequently focuses on topics such as knowledge transfer, cooperation, network theory, organizational learning, absorptive capacity, exploration and exploitation, the innovation value chain, barriers to innovation and failed innovation projects, and business model innovation.
