Description
Data literacy is now considered an essential skill in most professions. This is especially true for accountants because accounting focuses on generating and interpreting data. Therefore, to succeed in a modern accounting role, students need to be able to read, work with, analyze and communicate with data.This course shall provide knowledge and skills, giving the graduate competences to be part of a data-driven accounting department. Students will practice reading, analyzing and communicating with accounting data. Students will also critically reflect on the role of data analytics in auditing, financial accounting and managerial accounting.
