Description

Frontiers Science News reports on a study in which we investigated the effects of charismatic speech characteristics on team creativity. We find that a more charismatic speaking style used by a robot facilitator makes teams produce more original and more elaborate ideas and perceive their group work more positively. The study is joint work between my master student Karen Fucinato, my colleague Sladjana Nørskov, with whom I am collaborating in the Nordforsk project SFactor, and my SDU colleague and charisma expert Oliver Niebuhr.
