Emneord: Search engine

Research engine in continual development to help students and faculty in American Studies find reliable source materials. The American Studies Research Engine gives access to c. 1.1 million webpages, primarily in the United States, and excludes access to commercial pages and in fact most of what is on the WWW. It aims to be a highly focused quality browser, finding materials at major public libraries (New York, Boston, Chicago, etc.), major research universities, the Library of Congress, Museums, and Archives. In all cases it seeks to find not citations but full texts, images, or videos. No grant or release time from teaching was asked for or given in order to develop this resource
