Underestimation of neurotoxic pollutants

Grandjean, P. (Lecturer)

Activity: Talks and presentationsTalks and presentations in private or public companies

Description

Talk at DTU open for everybody.

The fetus and the child are particularly vulnerable to pollution. The fetus shares the mother´s exposure and accumulated body burden of pollutants, and many environmental chemicals are transferred to the infant via human milk. While the sensitivity of the brain is well documented, the effect of individual pollutants is poorly documented.
