Description

SDU Maritime Research Platform’s Work Package 6 (WP6) conducted by CMSS, focuses on improving accident analysis using Natural Language Processing. The project aims to improve the completeness and predictability of accident analysis. The findings are illustrated by analysing ongoing safety challenges in the construction, operation, and maintenance of energy hubs in the North and Baltic Seas. Energinet and its partners (research collaborators and advisers to the energy hubs development), have suggested the analysis of diving and deck operations during the installation, maintenance, and repair of subsea cables, as well as operations related to ship traffic. These are particularly challenging operations in the Bornholm energy hub.
