Contact with locals: breaking out of the expat bubble

Activity: Talks and presentationsTalks and presentations in private or public companies

Many expats and immigrants live in a so-called ‘expat bubble’ – they mainly have international friends and hardly know any locals. This is unfortunate because contact with locals can have many benefits: for one, it is a perfect way to get to know the host culture. The session will explore the various benefits of contact with locals, and discussions will focus on how people should break out of this bubble.
