Abstract
In this walk is introduced and carried out 3 related experiments successively. All 3 experiments are about how we can relate to, and learn from and with the living world, that we are part of, in ways that might foster life-friendly attunements and being in the world.
The walk explores experimentally possibilities of “more life-friendly attunements” through 3 strategies. First, an emptying strategy inspired by New Daoism, and an interpretation of the concepts wu-wei (literally non-action) and wanwu zhi ziran (that which is as it is). Secondly, an affective strategy, inspired by New Materialism, and an interpretation of the concept onto-sympathy, developed by Jane Bennett. Thirdly, by a memorial strategy, that allows for entering and sharing personal memory in relation to zoelogical interactions (a concept developed by Nørreklit and Paulsen, that includes what Bron Taylor calls eye-to-eye epiphanies).
