This entails a brief analysis of the historical background of the model and collective agreements as a regulatory instrument. The analysis will highlight the benefits and possible drawbacks of model and asses the status of the model. The current version is a working paper focusing on the legal basis of the model. The final paper will address the effects of globalisation and transnational aspects of collective bargaining as well.
