title = "Synchronisation of glycolytic oscillations in a suspension of human neutrophils",
abstract = "Neutrophils are known to be able to synchronize their production of superoxide. We show that glycolysis is also synchronized in human neutrophils being in suspension and suggest that oscillations in glycolysis are driving the pulsatile production of superoxide. The synchronising agent remains so far unknown, however, much evident points to that it might be hydrogen peroxide or an intermediate in glycolysis.",
