Abstract

The proposed typology identifies four strategic positions a hotel can take when it comes to sustainability readiness and IoT readiness. The positions are linked to the hotel’s internal and external conditions, and the paper points to an energy saving path and/or a technological path if the strategic intention is to develop high sustainability readiness and/or high IoT readiness.
