Abstract

Large social inequalities exist in CRC screening uptake. The inequalities are evident at first invitation for FIT and they are evident at follow-up colon examination in population submitting a positive FIT. When inequalities are evident at each stage the overall inequalities are enhanced and should be addressed. New technologies or strategies should be tested with the reduction of inequalities in mind.
