Resumé

The invention relates to a robot system and a control system for controlling motion of the robot. The control system is capable of controlling motion of the robot, i.e. an end-effector of the robot, according to a predefined or determined motion path. The control system is further capable of adjusting the motion path into an adjusted motion path based on measured or otherwise determined interaction parameters which describes the relationship of the end-effector with the surrounding environment. The motion path may be described by a set of motion primitives. A specific use of the robot system, according to an aspect of the invention, is a robotic training system for assisting patients with performing training exercises.
