Abstrakt

Plasmonics and Metamaterials

In article number 2000086, Jost Adam, Alireza Shabani, and co‐workers demonstrate the potential of aluminum‐doped zinc oxide (AZO) for future plasmonic metamaterials. Broadband optical dispersion data for varying dopant concentrations are extracted from first‐principles calculations and verified against experimental data. AZO‐based split‐ring resonator metamaterials reveal increased metallic characteristics and plasmonic performance with rising aluminum concentration.
