Idea in Brief
The focus of this paper is on how the offshore wind industry can reduce complexity in its operations and maintenance through modularization. We discuss this by addressing:
•Maintenance of offshore wind turbines that calls for rescheduling and re-planning
•The need for modularization of maintenance tasks; and
•The need for bundling of resources into different resource packages.
