Abstrakt

This article analyzes how 'Gräns' (2018, 'Border') uses the emotions of wonder and disgust to combine the fantastic with realism in entirely new ways. 'Border' was received as impossible to categorize or, as one reviewer wrote, it is “pure, limitless magic, turning the world we seem to know inside out and giving it an entire new context.” It uses cognitive theory of emotions and theories of wonder and the fantastic.
