Resumé

Research on exploitation and exploration has attracted high attention in recent years, but seems to be fragmented. Especially when it comes to the entrepreneur on an individual level, less research was undertaken so far. Hence, the aim of this paper is to give an overview of the current state of the art of research on organizational ambidexterity in entrepreneurship. The contribution to literature is an overview of research streams from an organizational as well from an individual level of analysis. Finally, a conceptual framework is suggested to link different research areas in order to support channelling future research.
