Abstrakt

Age estimation, especially for adults, has long been a problem for forensic and archaeological skeletons. Recent work with a broad array of traits and refined methods promises to provide accurate, precise, and unbiased estimates for the entirety of adulthood. A quarter century of research toward that goal and initial results are covered in this chapter.
