Abstract

Objectives: This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (intervention). The objectives are as follows:. To assess the benefits and harms of ECT for preventing relapse and recurrence of affective episodes (depression, hypomania, mania or mixed state) in children, adolescents, adults, and older people diagnosed with bipolar disorder.
