N2 - The culture performance of Fastidious Anaerobe Agar (FAA-HB) was evaluated for fecal samples and candidate-species for EUCAST antimicrobial susceptibility testing (AST). Thirty-six anaerobic species were cultured from fecal samples and most EUCAST candidate-species exhibited confluent growth within 16-20 h. The FAA-HB performed excellent for both culture and AST of a broad spectrum of anaerobic bacteria.
