Abstrakt
Bragg diffraction of light by a set of parallel phase gratings is considered, utilizing two-dimensional coupled-wave theory. The diffraction characteristics of a Bragg-type spatial light modulator are presented. It is shown that the resolution limit and the accuracy of spatial light modulation are determined by the geometry parameter of the grating. The results obtained are used for the choice of the design parameters of various optical Bragg processors.
