Abstract

OBJECTIVES: This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (intervention). The objectives are as follows: To evaluate the benefits and harms of oral bile acid-based therapies versus no intervention or placebo, or versus a different bile acid-based therapy, at any dose or regimen, in adults diagnosed with metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD).
