A pseudo-cocycle for the comultiplication on the quantum SU(2) group

Abstract

We show that the comultiplication on the quantum group SU_q(2) may be obtained from that on the quantum semigroup SU₀(2) by twisting with a unitary 2-pseudo-cocycle.
