Beskrivelse
YEAH! is an EU-funded project tackling the complex challenge of youth health inequalities, by connecting parents, teachers, peers, and healthcare professionals, and addressing multiple behaviours: diet, physical activity, sleep, and screen time. YEAH! develops innovative, evidence-based digital solutions to promote healthier, more equitable lives for children and adolescents across Europe.
The objectives of the project are to:
1. Foster collaboration among children, adolescents, and key actors in their environment, including parents, teachers, educators, healthcare professionals, and peers.
2. Address multiple health behaviors simultaneously, such as physical activity, diet, sleep, and sedentary habits.
3. Combine theory-driven insights with co-creation to adapt interventions to the unique needs of youth.
4. Conduct rigorous impact assessments to ensure sustainability, scalability, and equity.
The Danish Centre for Motivation and Behaviour Science (DRIVEN), Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Southern Denmark (SDU), contributes to Work Packages 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 & 8, specifically tasks involving the development of a logic model, participation in the co-creation, delivery and evaluation of the intervention.
