Beskrivelse
SAMBA aims to generate evidence on how systematic occupational health and safety management (SAM) can be effectively implemented to improve workplace safety and well-being. Following new regulatory requirements in Denmark which emphasize the importance of systematich occupational safety and health management, the project examines certified occupational health and safety management systems as a model for best practice. Through a mixed-methods design combining quantitative surveys and qualitative case studies, SAMBA explores drivers and barriers influencing the depth, and quality of SAM across diverse organizational contexts. The findings will inform practical tools and guidelines to strengthen SAM implementation, ensuring sustainable improvements in both physical and psychosocial work environments. Ultimately, SAMBA contributes to advancing research on occupational safety governance and provides actionable insights for companies, regulators, and stakeholders seeking to enhance systematic work environment management.
