Description
Background
Estimates from WHO suggest that trauma-exposure is common across populations and that 4 % is likely to suffer from PTSD. However, there is a dearth of research on trauma exposure and PTSD in the Danish population.
Purpose
Estimating the prevalence of trauma-exposure, ICD-11 and DSM-5 PTSD in Denmark.
Design
Cross-sectional surveys in stratified national samples.
