The European Bioinformatics Community (EuBIC) is an initiative for user-oriented proteomics bioinformatics. Its aim is to improve bioinformatics for proteomics research through the setup of community-driven dynamics improving the collaboration, funding, publication, and training activities.
EuBIC organizes a dedicated yearly conference in computational proteomics, bringing together top proteomics bioinformatics researchers, junior scientists and industry partners from across Europe. The EuBIC developer’s meeting will host several keynotes from leading international scientists in this field, a poster session where junior scientists can present their own work and several interactive computational sessions (hackathons) where participants from all expertise levels collaboratively will develop bioinformatics tools and resources addressing outstanding needs proposed by the community itself.
