nEX-TRa: from starting to consolidator grant

I intend to apply for the ERC consolidator. The basis for the application is the ERC Starting Grant application "Next generation theoretical models for transition metals" (nEX-Tra). The nEX-TRa project was deemed fundable (grade A) but was not ranked among the top (41% in panel PE4) projects funded (score: 60–62%). This project will allow me to address the critique which is critical for a successful consolidator grant.
