Beskrivelse
Water-processed organic photovoltaics show enormous potential as a sustainable and highly efficient renewable energy source. One of its current limitations is the lack of control over the size of the organic semiconductor nanoparticles essential for their production. This study aims to address this limitation by utilizing membrane emulsification to create organic semiconductor nanoparticles with controlled size and narrow polydispersity. These nanoparticles will be employed to generate a nanoparticle superlattice, something unattainable up to date, generating organic photovoltaic devices with the optimum morphology and thus, improved power conversion efficiencies.
