Beskrivelse

Kaleidoscope is a European network of excellence with more than 75 partners, 800 senior researchers, and PhD students. The expertise is distributed across the network into three types of activities: Special Interest Groups (SIGs), European Research Teams (ERTs), and Jointly Executed Integrating Research Projects (JEIRPs). SIGs aim to support the dynamism of the Kaleidoscope network, allowing it to develop in relation to new or strategic areas. Thus, SIGs act as catalysts for new areas that can give rise to specific research programs for ERTs and JEIRPs. SIGs function as a safeguard against the fragmentation of European research in this field.
JEIRPs are specific research programs with an interdisciplinary focus on approaching core issues within the field of learning. ERTs integrate resources from various teams, disciplines, and countries. ERTs involve participants in the Kaleidoscope network in knowledge sharing, infrastructure, and the provision of both virtual and physical mobility. With reference to a common research program, ERTs seek to support a shared research perspective by integrating expertise across different disciplines.

Anne Gerdes is the CO-PI and member of the steering committee for the Jointly Executed Integration Research Project (JEIRP): Conditions for productive learning in network learning environments, led by Lone Dircknick-Holmfeld, Aalborg University.
Anne Gerdes is a Participant in the Special Interest Group (SIG): Context & Learning.
