FucoSan Network - Health from the Sea

Objective 1:
The first objective of the FucoSan network project is to establish and extend the network concerning fucoidan and its commercialisation in the program region. This includes the regular exchange with interested partners in science and industry, with partners concerning blue bio-economy, the recruitment of potential investors, and the contact to policymakers in the German-Danish border region. This shall be implemented and funding options for continuation of this networking shall be identified and applied for.
Objective 2:
The second objective is to ensure further, sustainable funding for the research to develop fucoidan-based application. Towards this aim, project ideas are identified based on the results obtained from FucoSan. For the respective research and development projects, grant suppliers are identified and applications worked out and submitted. Within this objective, priority shall be given to project ideas that a) strengthen the program region, b) lead to synergism between the partners, and c) lead to the development of commercially promising applications.
