Carlsbergfondet - Conference on Centrosome and spindle pole bodies

The 2020 conference on centrosomes and spindle pole bodies in Copenhagen will build on previous EMBO-sponsored conferences 2008 Heidelberg, 2011 Barcelona, 2014 Lisbon and 2017 Heidelberg . The key objective of this conference is to promote the field by offering a multidisciplinary, diverse and dedicated program to foster collaborations, advance new concepts and exchange technologies. The conference will bring together scientists working on different aspects of centrosome cilia spindle pole body assembly and function in a variety of organisms. The conserved nature of many centrosome functions supports productive cross-fertilization between findings in different systems. The conference will promote the field by providing a unique environment and extensive opportunities for informal dialogue between young group leaders, PhD, postdocs and established scientists in the field.
