Dr. Xiankun Wu earned his Master of Engineering degree in 2017 at Anhui Agricultural University (AAU). In 2023, he obtained his Ph.D. from the Department of Biomass Energy and Materials at AAU under the guidance of Professor Zhongkai Wang. Throughout his academic journey, Dr. Wu secured academic scholarships and accolades, including recognition as an outstanding doctoral graduate and receiving the outstanding doctoral thesis award at AAU. Since September 2023, he has been contributing to cutting-edge research as a postdoc researcher in the Department of Physics, Chemistry and Pharmacy at the University of Southern Denmark, under the mentorship of Professor Changzhu Wu.

Dr. Wu is an active member of the Chinese Chemical Society and Composite Materials Society. His expertise extends to serving as a reviewer for journals affiliated with the Royal Society of Chemistry and Bioresource Technology. His prolific research endeavors are reflected in numerous publications, including several SCI papers in renowned journals such as Chemical Science, Small, Chemical Engineering Journal, Journal of Materials Chemistry A, ACS Sustainable Chemistry & Engineering and Composites Part B: Engineering. Furthermore, Dr. Wu has filed applications for twenty national invention patents, underscoring his dedication to innovation and intellectual property advancement.
