Forskningsinformation

I am an Associate Professor and Program Responsible for the Masters in International Security and Law at the University of Southern Denmark. I have wide research interests, and have published on the problems of trust and legitimacy in international relations, particularly with respect to NGOs, Russian conservative soft power, and the dilemmas of human rights in war.

I am currently a PI on a Novo Nordisk Foundation funded project "Sustainable Futures for New Generations of Farmers," together with Egon Noe, which aims to engage young farmers and leverage their potential as environmental stewards by identifying sociological barriers to green policies and reconstructing environmental protection through rural values and identity.

I am also a Co-PI on an Industriens Fond funded project "Cybersikkerhed og Forretningskontinuitet" where our interdisciplinary team from International Security, Business, and Computer Science are working with Danish SMEs to promote cyber and supply chain resilience amidst changing geopolitical conditions.

I have published in International Studies Quarterly, the European Journal of International Relations, the Review of International Studies, the British Journal of Politics and International Relations, the Journal of International Relations and DevelopmentInternational Politics and the Harvard Cold War Studies Book Series.

I have previously held positions as a lecturer at the University of Durham and was a visiting professor at Université Paris II Panthéon-Assas.
