Current project:

Resource efficient pig production with the use of Life Cycle Assessment (PhD project):
An industrial PhD project between the University of Southern Denmark (SDU) and SEGES Innovation. Primary focus is the application and development of Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) in pig production. Focal topics include environmental impact optimization, methodology harmonization, land use changes and prospective-LCAs (future scenarios).
Project supervisors: Morten Birkved (SDU), Alberto Maresca (SEGES).

Past research projects:  

Porous 3D printed concrete beams show an environmental promise: a cradle-to-grave comparative life cycle assessment (publication, MSc thesis):
A comparative LCA on structural beams, comparing 3D printed concrete beams to conventional cast concrete beams. A publication resulted from this collaboration between the Institute of Green Technology, the Department of Technology and Innovation and the section of Civil and Architectural Engineering within SDU.
Project supervisors: Roberto Naboni, Burak Zen, Gang Liu.


The Influence of Bottle Design on Perceived Quality of Beer: A Conjoint Analytic Study (Publication, BSc thesis):

A study and publication on consumer perception of beer infuenced through changes in label and bottle design. 
Project supervisor: Davide Giacalone.
