Research

My research is focused on professional ethics and the study of welfare professions from ethico-political and psycho-societal perspectives. From a vantage point of qualitative psychology and existential philosophy I specialize in working with ethical dilemmas, researching how welfare professionals experience ethical pressure and moral distress. Based on research in the higher education of welfare professionals I analyze how organizations, innovative learning and interdisciplinary interaction can support professional development and create ethical perception, professional integrity, resilience and values-based leadership.
