I am gender researcher who focuses on how gender stereotypes limits our agency and knowledge-production. Much of my research has drawn attention to sexism and gender discrimination in academia. In this reseach I have conducted both surveys and interviews to capture sexist attitudes and exposure to discrimination. But currently, I am exploring the Danish medias' interpretation of sex hormones from a Feminist STS-perspective - with particular attention to how research on the topic of sex hormones is picked up amongst non-academics. In this research, I draw attention to which cultural stories sex hormones are used to tell, as well as who benefits from the stories, and who becomes marginalised by them.
