I do clinical and epidemiological research in orthopedics.

Currently, I am working on my PhD project examining the effect of patient-staff contact in the outpatient clinic on patient reported outcomes following hip/knee arthroplasty. This is done under the patient supervision of Jens FL Sørensen, Assoc Prof at SEBE, University of Southern Denmark.

While my core focus is on quantitative research, I do have a sweet tooth for the qualitative, which I believe has an important place of its own in epidemiology. My qualitative research focuses on patient dissatisfaction and is done in collaboration with Sanne Angel, Assoc Prof at the Department of Public Health, Aarhus University.
