Henriette Strømme is a PhD fellow at the University of Southern Denmark and Odense University Hospital, with a background in physiotherapy and an MSc in Health Science. Prior to her PhD, she gained experience in clinical research investigating the impact of lifestyle factors, particularly physical activity, on physical and mental health outcomes, providing a foundation in both clinical and epidemiological research methods. Her current research is focused on the intersection of reproductive health and cardiovascular epidemiology, investigating the association between medically assisted reproduction and long-term cardiovascular risk in women, using a registry-based epidemiological approach drawing on nationwide Danish health registry data spanning nearly 30 years. Her research interests encompass the characterisation of cardiovascular risk factor profiles in women undergoing fertility treatment, the investigation of associations between fertility treatment and subsequent cardiovascular disease, and the broader role of lifestyle factors as determinants of health outcomes in women. She has a particular interest in women's health and public health, and applies register-based epidemiological methods to address clinically and societally relevant research questions.
